Cam Packaging offers outsourcing, custom thermoformingtooling trialslabeling, and warehousing/shipping services.

It’s our goal to help solve short-term capacity issues while also partnering with you on long-term projects with products that you no longer want to run in your facility.

Custom Forming

Cam Packaging has the expertise to help design a part or tray for you. From there, we’ll take the project to the sample/prototype phase, and then on to production.

Our custom food packaging projects have included food trays, bakery packaging, clamshell packaging, produce packaging, berry packaging, fruit containers, and much more. In addition, Cam Packaging has also designed and manufactured plastic packaging used in the retail and automotive industries. Cam manufacturers products in the following materials; PET(polyethylene terephthalate), PP (polypropylene), HIPS (high impact polystyrene), PS (polystyrene), and more.

Outsourcing / contract manufacturing

Cam Packaging provides successful thermoforming companies the avenue of outsourcing their short and long-term needs. Packaging manufacturers will provide the tooling and material, and Cam Packaging will make the finished product, and ship to your customer. Outsourcing has been the foundation of Cam Packaging from the start.

Cam Packaging has the following thermoforming machines available to manufacture product:

  • 2 (qty) 52” Lyle Industries machines

  • 1 (qty) 40” Lyle Industries machine

  • 1 (qty) 30” Lyle Industries machine

 Tooling TRIALS

Perhaps you need to try out a new tool before sending it abroad.  No problem,  we can work with your staff and or tool maker here on site to verify everything is as it should be. We have the following sizes of Lyle Industry in-line thermoforming machines: 2 (qty) 52”, 1(qty) 40”, and 1(qty) 30” to try out your mold.

 Labeling

We can label items shipped in, or can label as we form. We have six label heads that can wipe labels on top or bottom of parts, or be reconfigured to run three lines top and bottom label application.

Warehousing/Shipping

Our facility is 38,000 sq. ft and spotless.  We can hold product and ship using your shipping documents as needed. Most tolling items go blind using customer supplied shipping documents. We will accommodate any arrangement that works for you.  Often custom items are kept here until we are asked to ship them.

We take all of the following factors into consideration during the planning process:

Step 3- Quality assurance
After the initial start up, parts are sent to the customer for inspection and then move forward with production. We perform data collection typically using digimatic direct input devices and sample at intervals required by our customer.
